Key responsibilities:

• Aligning and leveling heavy equipment machinery
• Preparing loads to be moved
• Inspecting and maintaining the rigging equipment in proper working order

• Using appropriate rigging gear when handling heavy equipment machinery
• Adhering to the health, safety and company standards at all times
• Cleaning, dismantling, and storing the rigging equipment after every use
• Supporting structures and hoists using various hand and power tools
• Checking the safety and reliability to the rigging equipment on a timely basis

• Coordinating with the other team members when loading and moving goods
• Preparing and setting up the rigging equipment using bolts, clamps and pulleys
• Ensuring the safety of the team members while performing daily activities

Minimum qualifications and experience required for this position:

• NCC in Rigging.
• Minimum 3 years as a Rigger in the mining industry,
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. +Driver’s Licence.
• First Aid & CPR certificate
