HR Officer – Redpath Botswana
Redpath is the world’s premier full-service underground mining contractor. Redpath Botswana are excited to be looking for one (1) Human Resources Officer for the new Redpath Botswana business be based in Gaborone.
Open to citizens of Botswana only.
Basic function of the position:
Assist with HR requirements for our projects in Botswana, ensuring they meet Redpath's standards and all relevant legislative requirements.
As the Human Resources Officer for the Jwaneng Underground Project you will provide day to day support to our Projects in Botswana.
You will be responsible for:
- Advertising/Shortlisting for roles
- Support the team with ER/IR Advice
- Implement HR policies and procedures
- Assisting with onboarding/offboarding employees
- Assisting with workforce administration
- Assisting with payroll, time and attendance system implementation
- HRIS system record keeping & filing
Minimum qualifications and experience required for this position:
- Degree in Humna Resource Management
- 3+ years experience within HR in Industrial or Engineering environments
- Open Drivers licence, first aid and CPR
This is a hands on operational/transactional role that will be involved of the startup of Redpath Botswana. Therefore, you will need sound HR experience coupled with an enthusiasm to deliver not just delegate tasks. This is a residential based role in Jwaneng on a Monday to Friday 5/2 roster.
