Redpath is the world’s premier full-service underground mining contractor. Redpath Botswana are excited to be looking for Bus Drivers for the new Jwaneng Underground Mining Development Project.
Open to citizens of Botswana only.
Basic function of the position:
The role as a Bus Driver is to be responsible for operating equipment according to the site procedures and instructions given by the shift supervisor.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate machinery for transportation of staff at the Jwaneng Underground Project
- Complete pre starts on equipment and report on maintenance issues.
- Identify and promote suggestions to increase productivity and/or reduce operating costs.
Minimum qualifications and experience required for this position:
- Botswana Driver’s Licence C class minimum.
- PrDP for 31-100 passengers is essential
- First Aid & CPR certificate.
- Able to attain a security clearance
- Proven Safe and reliable operation of mobile mining equipment
