The Tanami Expansion 2 Project includes civil works, constructing the surface infrastructure components including the winders, headframe and surface conveyors, and lining and equipping the 1460 meters deep production shaft.
About the Role

Reporting to the Shaft Manager you will be responsible for:
- Develop the forward plans, designs, and schedules in a timely manner to allow effective execution of the Scope of Works
- Collect reliable data and information to monitor the progress and quality of the works and identify potential areas of improvement
- Ensure there are adequate materials, equipment, tools, consumable and other resources on site to effectively execute the work as per design, schedule and specifications
- Interpret contract Scope of Works, Specifications, designs, schedules and ensuring plans for project execution conform
- Identify, report and investigate non conformance to relevant laws, regulations, contract requirement and Redpath Policies, Standards, Management Plans, Procedures and agreed execution plans
- Liaising and collaborating with other departments including Engineering, Maintenance, Electrical, Procurement, Safety and Health, Administration and Quality
- Identify and report proposed works that could be considered a variation
- Support the Shaft Manager in the development and implementation of assigned continuous improvement projects, including development and review of operating work pack, procedures and methodologies
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in mining engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
- 3+ years mining industry experience desirable.
- Proficiency in mine planning and design and project scheduling
- Proven capability to work in a complex environment.
- Ability to apply for a current National Police Clearance and pass a pre - employment medical before commencing the position
