  About the role

    As Senior HR/IR Advisor, you will be an important member of the Human Resources team, based in our Brisbane office at Eagle Farm. Your focus will be

    coordinating and delivering HR/IR initiatives across the business to support our projects across Australia. Key responsibilities will include:

• Employee Relations;

• Industrial Relations;

• Award and agreement interpretation;

• Negotiating and leading Enterprise Agreements;

• Performance counselling and management;

• HR policies and procedure development and update;

• Providing HR/IR Advice.

   

  This is a pivotal role within the business and will require:

• Tertiary qualifications in HR with IR experience essential;

• Ability to implement HR initiatives to support the delivery of HR priorities;

• Demonstrated ability to interpret employment contracts and industrial instrument/s including knowledge of relevant legislation;

• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively resolve issues in the workplace;

• Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines;

• Provide general HR advice to employees and leaders on ER/IR matters at site as required;

• Ability to work well in a fast paced team;

• Ability to travel to projects Australia wide;

• Experience within the engineering/construction industry desirable.
