About the role

Redpath are seeking a Mining Technician for their George Fisher project in Mt Isa. In this role you will be responsible for the safe, effective and productive operation of photographic equipment and associated software.

 

The role involves

  • operate photographic and survey equipment in an underground mining environment
  • working closely with the Clients Tech services team to map development headings
  • collaborate closely with Geo’s/Geo Tech with 3 dimensional mapping of geological ore bodies, faults & geological structures
  • working autonomously to track and map all underground areas of significance
  • accurate data recording

 

We are looking for

  • must have an Undergraduate degree, preferably in Science/Engineering/Geo
  • experience in operation of 4WD vehicles & manual Drivers Licence
  • the ability to work well with others in a team environment as well as work unsupervised
  • Valid manual drivers licence
  • A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely
