About the Project

This is your opportunity to join the Redpath team as they are ramping up operations at their underground mine at the historic Rothsay Gold Mine. The Rothsay Gold Mine is located approximately 80km east of Perenjori WA and approximately 400kms from Perth Airport or 1 hr flight from Perth. The scope of this project includes portal development from a new boxcut, development into the orebody and mine production. Redpath will have a fleet of brand new underground equipment making it an exciting opportunity for operators and tradespeople alike.

 

The role involves

  • Working a 2 week on, 2 week off roster, 12hr shifts
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to fleet of Sandvik Development Drills, Production Drills, Trucks and Loaders
  • Fault finding repairing and/or replacing components as required
  • Maintain plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and site requirements
  • Maintain a clean & tidy workshop

 

We are looking for

  • Demonstrated experience working on underground hard rock mobile plant is essential
  • A Trade Certificate as a Diesel Fitter/Diesel Mechanic
  • Auto electrical knowledge is desired
  • Valid manual drivers licence
  • National Police clearance within last 6 months advantageous
  • A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done — safely.
