About the Project

Olympic Dam Mine, operated by the largest mining company in the world, BHPB is approximately 550km North-West of Adelaide mining copper, gold and uranium. Redpath provide the safe delivery of ground support services and equipment maintenance through the utilisation of Shotcrete, Cable Bolting and Rehab Jumbo equipment, along with ancillary plant and Light Vehicles. The role involves

  • Operating our Normet Spraymec or Jacon Maxijet spray rigs
  • Working a 2/1 OR 2/2 roster, 12hr shifts

We are looking for

  • Previous experience as a Shotcrete Operator;
  • Valid manual drivers licence
  • Previous experience with the operation of Sandvick, Normet and Jacon Maxijet shotcreting machinery;
  • Experience with operating heavy earthmoving equipment, excavators etc will be considered.
  • Underground mining experience (desirable);
  • Current First Aid & CPR qualifications;
  • The ability to work well with others in a team environment as well as work unsupervised;
  • A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.
