About the Project
This is your opportunity to join the Redpath team on an underground development project at Narrabri Coal Operations.
The Narrabri Coal Operations mine site is located approximately 28km southeast of the township of Narrabri.
The project will be executed utilising Cut and Flit mining methodology. Equipment will include a Joy 12CM12 Continuous Miner, Waracar Shuttlecar, Joy Multibolter, Sandvik LS190 LHD’s, Driftrunners and Conveyors. This project provides an exciting opportunity for operators and tradespeople alike.
Redpath is excited about establishing a presence in New South Wales and working with Narrabri Coal Operations throughout the next two years.
The role involves
- Working a 8 days on, 6 days off roster, 12hr shifts
- perform the duties of an electrical co-ordinator for all installations on the mine site to the underground coal mining regulations as they apply in NSW
- plan and achieve safe, timely and cost effective electrical installations and maintenance
- perform programmed maintenance of all electrical plant on site
- provide leadership for electrical trades labour
We are looking for
- Current NSW Electrical Worker Board licence
- extensive experience in electrical installation and maintenance in an underground coal mining environment
- Supervisor certification S1,2,3 and G2 Risk Management
- Manual driver’s license
- A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done — safely.
