About the Project

This is your opportunity to join the Redpath team at the historic Darlot Gold Mine. The Darlot Gold Mine is located approximately 56km east of Leinster and approximately 900km North East from Perth. The scope of this project includes Single Jumbo Development Crew for capital and oredrive/level development.  Redpath will have a brand new Sandvik DD421 jumbo, brand new Sandvik 514 loader and other ancillary equipment making it an exciting opportunity for operators and tradespeople alike.  Redpath are establishing an increasing presence in Western Australia and already have a significant global presence.

 

The role involves

  • Working a 2 week on, 2 week off roster, 12hr shifts
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to Sandvik Jumbo’s, Loaders and various ancillary equipment
  • Fault finding repairing and/or replacing components as required
  • Maintain plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and site requirements
  • Maintain a clean & tidy workshop

 

We are looking for

  • Demonstrated experience working on underground hard rock mobile plant is essential
  • A Trade Certificate as a Diesel Fitter/Diesel Mechanic
  • Auto electrical knowledge is desired
  • Valid manual drivers licence
  • National Police clearance within last 6 months advantageous
  • A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done — safely.
