You will be working 12-hour days and returning to a great camp at the end of the day. Roster is 14/14 with FIFO available from Cairns, Townsville and Brisbane.

About the Project

This is your opportunity to join the Redpath team at the world class Lady Loretta Mine, approximately 140km North-West of Mt Isa, whereby Redpath are responsible for all facets of the mining operation. The Lady Loretta Operation has been set up using industry leading technology, and Redpath have continued these standards with mobilisation of new equipment with an emphasis on technology to support safe and efficient production outcomes.

The role involves

• Preventative and reactive Maintenance of Surface and Underground mining equipment. The Underground fleet comprised of Epiroc MT65 Articulated dump truck, Sandvik LH621I and classic loaders, DD421 and DS421 Development and cable bolting Drills, Caterpillar 140M Grader, Volvo 90F and 120H loaders, Surface Fleet comprise of Volvo, 260H and 350Fwheel loaders and ancillary equipment  including C18 and 3516 Caterpillar Gensets and dewatering pump combinations.
• Working on state of the art equipment with the latest Automation technology

We are looking for

• Diesel Trade Qualification (Heavy equipment essential)
• Valid unrestricted manual drivers licence
• Experience in both  Underground and Surface plant and equipment
• Commitment to safety and compliance with all site and company processes and procedures
• Deliver high quality work and achieving goals and timeframes, and input into continuous improvement projects
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work with a dynamic team
• A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.
