About the project 

 

Located about 150km NE of Mt Isa. Redpath has a contract with the mine owners Glencore to run the operation.

Redpath runs the camp and all operations, both surface and underground – it also carries statutory responsibilities for all activities

within the mining lease.

 

The task at Lady Loretta is to deliver 1.6Mt of high grade Ag/Pb/Zn ore to road trains for transport to Glencore’s

processing facilities in Mt Isa.

 

The surface operations provide support to the underground mining. Surface operations include crushing, shotcrete

batching, paste manufacturing and waste dump management.

 

As Lady Loretta is a Lead mine we take particular care with hygiene. Blood tests are regularly taken to ensure that

prescribed safe limits are maintained, and there is a clean in / clean out policy whereby people change and shower at

work, with work clothes being washed daily. No work clothes come back to camp.

FIFO: available from Brisbane, Townsville & Cairns.

 

Camp: The camp on site features a variety of facilities including a modern canteen and accommodation. The site currently has:
