The Project

Dugald River Mine is seeking an experienced Cablebolt Operator.

 

The Redpath Group is a leading mining contractor with almost 10,000 employees on projects across the globe. The Role

As an experienced Cable bolter, you will have to demonstrate:

  • Cable Bolt drill experience with Sandvik equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand cable bolt layouts.
  • Strong knowledge & understanding of ground support standards.
  • Responsible for application of the whole cable bolting process in an underground mine.
  • Safe and efficient installation of cable bolts for mine rehabilitation and ground support.
  • A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.

 

The Opportunity:

Working on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster rotating day and night shift.

 

FIFO: available from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns. 

 

Camp: A well-known mining hub in Cloncurry North West QLD, the camp on site features a variety of facilities including a modern canteen and accommodation. The site currently has:

  • En-suite rooms with air conditioning and Wi-Fi
  • Good quality and consistent standard of meals
  • Clean camp site with large array of facilities & activities.
