Matric certificate/ equivalent

Underground UV Competency

Competent B

Valid Driver’s License

Medically fit for underground

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

At least 2 years of underground related experience.

Effective communication and contributing to teamwork success.

Knowledge of Trackless Mining

Excellent driving skills, problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Attention to details and accuracy in recording and reporting

Knowledge of Mine Health & Safety Act and regulations

Knowledge of Codes of Practice and working guides.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure customer satisfaction

Participate and comply with SHEQT requirements (she Toolbox)

Ensure that the right material is transported to the right sections underground.

Load and offload the material and explosives at the required place on the UV transport underground.

Adherent to transport procedures and code of practice
