We're looking for detail-driven Senior/Mining Estimators to join our team.
In these roles, you’ll take the lead in preparing and submitting accurate, competitive tender documents on time. You'll play a key role in interpreting client requirements and tender specifications, ensuring every submission reflects a deep understanding of project needs, scope, and cost implications. Your expertise will help shape winning proposals and support successful project delivery.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

·      Develop estimates to meet client’s requirements and producing project methodology documentation and schedules to a high level of accuracy

·      Make tender amendments where applicable utilising client feedback on submitted tender.

·      Maintain an understanding of the performance of current projects to ensure continuous improvement for all future tendering opportunities

·      Maintain working relationships with clients to ensure tender processes are delivered

·      Provide sound, qualified decision-making to the estimating process, followed embedded processes and protocols in line with Redpath’s requirements.

 

What You Bring

·      Tertiary qualification in Mining or Civil Engineering

·      3-5+ years’ experience in the mining industry in an engineering or site-based role.

·      Demonstrated experience in the coordination, planning, administration and management of site-based project work, or in the support and development of tender submission processes

·      Possess an advanced understanding of the development of estimation methodologies, identification of major cost components, performing bid evaluations and risk analysis

·      Demonstrated experience with estimation software preferably Expert Estimation or similar

·      Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) including advanced Microsoft Excel skills

·      Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numbers

·      Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
