About the Project:

The Scotia Project is located in Norseman in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, approximately 725km east of Perth, 200 km south of Kalgoorlie, and 200 km north of Esperance. Redpath have commenced a 3-year development and production contract. The Scotia Project has great camp facilities based in the main street of Norseman approximately 25 minutes from site.

 

With recent expansion, we are looking for skilled Drill Fitters to join us at our Scotia Project. 

 

About the role: 

  • Perform mechanical maintenance and some electrical (low voltage) repairs as directed and as per maintenance plans.

  • Performing planned and breakdown repairs to ensure that heavy mobile equipment availability supports production requirements

  • Perform repair and fault finding using hydraulic and electrical schematics

  • Provide relevant feedback to enable maintenance planning improvements in terms of efficiency and equipment integrity

     

     

We are looking for

  • Experience working on underground hard rock mobile plant;

  • drill experience, on E7C Epiroc simba, Sandvik 422i and 421  (MUST)

  • Trade Certificate as a Diesel Fitter/Diesel Mechanic;

  • Valid manual drivers licence;

  • A positive work ethic and attitude;

  • Strong fault finding & diagnostic skills;

  • The ability to work well with others in a team environment as well as work unsupervised.

  • Full Australian working rights.
