About the Role

We are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters/Mechanics to join our maintenance team working at our Kalgoorlie Service Centre.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and rebuilding of a broad range of equipment in the workshop. Equipment will include, clutches, gearboxes, and other components, diagnosing and finding faults, overhauling and repairing engines, handling hydraulic repairs, on-site fixes, routine servicing, and promoting top-notch health and safety practices.

• Work with a close-knit team of experienced Diesel Fitters

• Work on a range of Underground Machinery and Drills

• Major component change outs & maintenance projects

• Preparing machines to be sent out to new mining operations

Role Requirements

You will be trade qualified and have experience working on earthmoving equipment both surface and underground, ideally with exposure to Drill rigs within a workshop environment. 

• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and rebuilds

• Earthmoving, drilling and shotcrete maintenance experience 

• Strong fault finding & diagnostic skills

• Able to pass a National Police Check and Pre-employment Medical

• High level of detail and ability to deliver quality work

• Team player and a great attitude towards work

• A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done — safely.
