About the Role

As an Electrical Underground Supervisor, you’ll lead a skilled team, ensuring safe and efficient electrical operations underground. You’ll manage installations, breakdowns, maintenance, training, and compliance, while supporting the broader mining department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage underground electrical operations
• Oversee installations, maintenance, and breakdown response
• Train and mentor team members
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with electrical standards
• Collaborate with mining teams to support site operations

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 5 years underground electrical experience
• Current Electrical Licence (Nominee or ability to obtain)
• High Voltage Switching Certificate (within 2 years)
• CPR/LVR & Working at Heights (or ability to obtain)
• Strong planning and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visio
• Knowledge of underground communication systems (leaky feeder, Wi-Fi, fibre optic)
• Understanding of mobile/electric drills and current electrical legislation
• C Class Australian Driver’s Licence
