About the role

The Raisebore Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for leading a safe and efficient maintenance operation achieving exceptional equipment reliability and maintaining compliance with the Health, Safety, Training, Environmental and Quality systems whilst providing leadership and direction for the maintenance team.

  • Working on an 8/6 Roster

  • Repairs and maintenance of mechanical equipment on site

  • Direction, supervision and coaching of all mechanical staff

  • Day to day recording of progress of works

  • Investigate breakdowns weekly

  • Assisting HR with Interviewing maintenance candidates 

  • Continual training, progression, and support to help you reach your goals in the industry

Role requirements

  • Mechanical Trades Qualification or relevant Tertiary Qualifications

  • Experience in mechanical installation and maintenance in an underground mining environment

  • Experience with managing a team of mechanical personnel

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Able to prioritise and schedule tasks according to changing priorities

  • Ability to hold and maintain a national police clearance certificate

  • Valid manual driver's license

  • A positive work ethic and attitude
