About the role

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, this is a full time permanent role based in Eagle Farm. The role will be full time with option of flexible office hours, 5 days a week.

The primary role of the Accounts Payable/Travel Officer is to provide suppliers of Redpath Australia and other related entities with timely and accurate payment, to keep a good rapport with suppliers in order to continue successfully purchasing materials and services besides building a solid reputation for Redpath and to manage travel process for Head Office employees and international travel.

 

Duties

  • ensure supplier invoices, credit card statements and expense reports are keyed accurately in ESI-AP (Electronic Supplier Interface) on timely basis;
  • reconcile supplier accounts to check for unaccounted invoices, credit notes, adjustments and monitor payment processes;
  • troubleshoot issues regarding purchase orders, invoices, reports, ESI-AP and JDE systems;
  • advise and assist suppliers to facilitate their use of ESI-AP (the Electronic Supplier Interface);
  • maintain open communication with suppliers and site staff in order to uphold a positive relation;
  • manage vehicle registration/CTP, fuel cards and toll account for Redpath vehicles;
  • manage domestic and international travel (including Visa’s) for Head Office employees through Redpath travel agent, maintain traveller profiles and review & approve travel invoices;
  • training Redpath employees in travel, freight and credit card processes as required.

 

Skills and experience

  • experienced in full function accounts payable in a high volume environment with exposure to automated payment process;
  • experience with a major ERP preferably JD Edwards;
  • intermediate Excel skills;
  • high attention to detail;
  • strong customer service and communication skills;
  • exceptional multi-tasking and prioritising skills.
