MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Matric certificate/ equivalent

Diploma / Degree in HR or equivalent

Advanced Labour Relations Diploma is advantageous

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Sound knowledge of the Mining Charter

Excellent negotiation skills

Ability to understand and work with all people at all levels

Up to date knowledge and interpretation of all applicable legislation

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manpower Planning:

Coordinate all Recruitment activities by means of:

  • Complying to the Recruitment procedure

Employment Relations:

  • Participate in the preparation of dispute resolution
  • Ensure consistent application of the code of conduct
  • Attend monthly communication forum & site committee meetings & ensure administration thereof
  • Monitor & report on union membership
  • Coordinate & participate in Trade Union-Management meetings
  • Coordinate & participate in Wage negotiations

Information management and HR Administration:

  • Prepare accurate daily/weekly & monthly HR reports
  • Maintain company standard on personnel files
  • Always keep detailed & accurate headcount labour report

Performance management:

  • Coordinate Performance Management
  • Ensure that all skilled personnel & officials on-site have Performance Contracts
