Redpath's Scotia project based in Western Australia has continued to grow since operations commenced mid 2024, we are now looking for Diesel Fitters to join the team! 

About the Project:

The Scotia Project is a new development + production contract, located in Norseman in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, approximately 725km east of Perth, 200 km south of Kalgoorlie, and 200 km north of Esperance. Redpath have commenced a 3-year development contract with rapid expansion over the next 6 months. The Scotia Project has great camp facilities based in the main street of Norseman approximately 25 minutes from site.

About the role: 

• Working a 2 week on, 2 week off roster or 2 week on, 1 week off.
• Perform mechanical maintenance and some electrical (low voltage) repairs as directed and as per maintenance plans.
• Responsible for safe work environment by contributing to JSA.s, JHA’s, risk assessments and engineering technical standards, facility standards and work practices
• Performing planned and breakdown repairs to ensure that heavy mobile equipment availability supports production requirements
• Perform repair and fault finding using hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Provide relevant feedback to enable maintenance planning improvements in terms of efficiency and equipment integrity

Skills & Experience required: 

• Trade qualification in a mechanical discipline with experience in underground mining/heavy mobile earth moving equipment
• Valid manual drivers licence 
• First aid and CPR Certificate
• Working at Heights Certificate
• Knowledge of and experience with mining products
• A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done — safely.
