Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Install and remove ventilation ducting.
  • Hang and remove ventilation fans.
  • Install water, air, and pump reticulation pipes.
  • Install electrical reticulation.
  • Build ventilation devices.
  • Install and remove pumps and pumping stations.
  • Operate the Integrated Tool (IT) carrier.
  • Assist the charge up crew with general service works.
  • Install ground support (cable bolts) as required.

 

Minimum qualifications and experience required for this position:

  • Drivers Licence.
  • First Aid & CPR.
  • 2 years of experience working underground mining.
