Dugald River Mine is seeking experienced Jumbo Operators.

Redpath Australia currently has an opportunity for Jumbo Operators to join the team. Reporting to the development supervisor, the primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for all Jumbo mining operations.

The Redpath Group is a leading mining contractor with almost 10,000 employees on projects across the globe. We specialise in shaft sinking, mine development, contract mining, raiseboring, underground construction, engineering & technical services, and specialty services in the mining and construction sectors.

With the recent acquisition of RUC Mining, we now operate the largest fleet of Raisedrill & Raisebore machines in Australia. Integrating RUC Mining's expertise with Redpath’s established reputation allows us to offer an expanded range of services and enhanced capabilities to our clients. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking talented candidates to be involved in the integration and streamlining of our operations to continue Redpath's development and ability to continue to deliver exceptional value to our clients and partners.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a frontline Jumbo Operator
• Extensive experience working in underground mining
• All valid and relevant qualifications, certificate and licences
• Valid manual drivers licence
• A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.

The Opportunity:

Working on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster rotating day and night shift.

FIFO: available from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns. 

Camp: A well-known mining hub in Cloncurry North West QLD, the camp on site features a variety of facilities including a modern canteen and accommodation. The site currently has:

• En-suite rooms with air conditioning and Wi-Fi
• Good quality and consistent standard of meals
• Clean camp site with large array of facilities & activities.
