The Financial Controller is the senior financial manager responsible for overseeing all financial accounting and reporting, client invoicing and collections, as well as supply chain and IT activities for PT Redpath Indonesia. The role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, development of internal controls, accurate budgeting, forecasting, and supports strategic decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the following functions:
    • Project accounting (job costing and project-based environment)
    • Billings
    • Accounts receivable
    • Fixed assets
    • General accounting including preparation financial statements (Indonesia GAAP / IFRS)
  • Prepare monthly management statements, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Analyze and report on statement results.
  • Ensure proper internal controls are in place and functioning.
  • Ensure compliance with tax reporting requirements. Manage tax audits as required.
  • Oversee treasury operations, banking relationships. Manage cashflow and working capital.
  • Develop, support and/or champion business process automation initiatives .
  • Answer high-priority, highly analytical strategic questions to drive better understanding of business performance and to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Partner and collaborate with business owners to structure and deliver on-point analyses that inform business decisions.
  • Build and manipulate models for scenario planning, ROI analyses. across all areas, have a focus on developing data-based recommendations and solutions.
  • Work closely with operations management to:
    • Prepare timely budgets and forecasts
    • Analyze and explain results
    • Ensure best practices in managing data requirements and integrity, particularly with project controls personnel
  • Liaise with other corporate departments on policies and procedures.
  • Mentor/coach and provide leadership to other members of the team.
  • Maintain confidentiality with respect to Redpath financial, employee and client information

Education
Required:     Chartered Professional Accountant

Work Experience
Required:     Minimum ten years management experience in a medium or large company

  • Experience in organizations undergoing change or rapid growth
  • Experience in a projects-based environment
  • Experience working for companies with multi-country operations
  • Experience working in an ERP environmen

Knowledge Required 

  • Must speak, read and write in English and Indonesian Bahasa
  • Self-starter, works well with minimum supervision
