About the Role
Redpath Australia is seeking an experienced and passionate Occupational Health Advisor to join our team.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of workers' compensation, injury management, and return-to-work programs across our operations.
You will also take the lead in promoting a culture of health and wellbeing by delivering education and awareness initiatives focused on ergonomics, manual handling, and employee wellness. Your proactive approach will support our commitment to maintaining a safe, healthy, and productive workforce.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients' and projects Health, Safety & Training teams as required
- Maintain the training matrix and training records for the Head Office and Plant Yard
- Coordinate all workers’ compensation cases for Redpath Australia
- Manage injury management, rehabilitation, and return-to-work programs
- Prepare and deliver training programs focused on manual handling, ergonomics, and health and wellness
- Stay up to date with current health and safety legislation and best practices
- Develop and review documentation related to injury management, rehabilitation,
and return-to-work health programs
- Ensure emergency preparedness in line with the Incident Response Plan.
About You
- Formal qualifications in a health-related field
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Qualifications in injury management and return-to-work coordination
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in driving safety and cultural change
- Proven ability to apply risk management principles effectively
- Current Senior First Aid and CPR certifications,
