About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Agitator Operator to join our mining team in Jwaneng. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and productive operation of the Agitator both underground and on surface. This position is vital in ensuring material delivery, compliance with safety standards, and supporting smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Agitator truck in line with site safety and quality standards.

• Safely deliver Concrete/Fibrecrete to underground workings.

• Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and complete pre-start checks.

• Adhere to strict housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and reporting procedures.

• Assist with underground operations as directed by the Supervisor.

• Attend and contribute to toolbox talks, safety meetings, and shift handovers.

• Report hazards, incidents, and mechanical issues immediately.

• Promote Redpath’s core philosophy: “Safety – First, Last and Always.”

Minimum qualifications and experience required for this position:

• Experience operating agitators or haul trucks (preferably in underground mining).

• Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management

• Valid Class B Driver’s Licence.

• Current First Aid & CPR certification.

• G1 Safety Induction – Metalliferous Core & Underground.

• Strong planning, organising, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Physically fit to meet site demands, including underground work and extended shifts.
