SERVICE CREW

Redpath is the world’s premier full-service underground mining contractor. Redpath Botswana are excited to be looking for three (3) Service Crew for the new Jwaneng Underground Mining Development Project.

Open to citizens of Botswana only.

Basic function of the position:

The role of Service Crew Operator is to provide critical support services to production and development teams by installing and maintaining essential infrastructure like air, water, and ventilation pipes, along with electrical services.

Key responsibilities:

• Installation and maintenance of underground steel pipework
• Operation of Integrated Tool Carriers and light vehicles
• General support of underground mining activities
• Delivery and installation of services and consumables
• Assisting trades and shift teams
• Performing tasks in compliance with site safety and operational standards
• Handheld airleg operations (advantageous)

Minimum qualifications and experience required for this position:

• Junior Certificate.
• 2 years Underground Mining experience as a Service Crew Operator.
• Valid Service Crew Tickets on related machines
• Good communication skills
• Driver’s Licence.
• First Aid & CPR certificate
