MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 Certificate
BSc / BEng in Mining Engineering
Computer literacy (MS Office) – Advanced Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams, Projects
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
Willing to travel
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and develop within the mining industry
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will be exposed to, but not limited to the following responsibilities and learning opportunities:
Tenders including preliminary methodology, equipment selection, life cycle costing, labour resourcing and production rates
Examine blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, equipment, and labour estimates
Preparation and pricing of Bill of Quantities
Ensure all tender documents are stored for future reference
