MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Relevant Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Mining, Projects, or similar).

Postgraduate qualification (MBA, Honours, or industry-specific certifications) advantageous.

Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in the mining sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role.

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

Strong understanding of mining operations, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced industrial environment

Provide strategic leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams.

Drive business growth & optimisation

Successfully implement projects within the organization in line with the digitization strategy of the business

Drive operational excellence, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with mining legislation, company policies, and industry standards.

Develop and manage budgets, resource plans, and performance targets.

Foster collaboration across departments to achieve organisational objectives.

Build a strong safety-first culture and ensure best-in-class risk management.

Report performance metrics and support executive-level decision-making.
