General Engineering Supervisor

 

 

 

 NATURE OF EMPLOYMENT:

 

Fixed Term Contract

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Matric certificate / equivalent

Relevant Trade Certificate

MS office Proficiency

Valid Driver’s license

Medically fit

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Experience working with TMM / Earthmoving machinery & equipment

Knowledge of TMM / Earthmoving maintenance related systems

Onkey (Pragma) / SAP experience will be advantageous

A proven track record in maintenance management

Thorough understanding of procurement procedures / stores administration

Good understanding and control of costs & budgets for maintenance

Working knowledge of Mine Health & Safety Act

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Determine priorities and prepare for planned work

Keep a live report on all Plant inclusive of a diesel and oil balance

Component tracking / warranty claims

Ensure timeous submission of monthly reports

Plan and monitor routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance

Generates controls for engineering maintenance

Management of critical spares
